Chris handles defense and coverage matters involving general liability, construction defect, environment, errors & omissions, professional liability, and directors & officers policies.

Chris focuses his practice on commercial litigation, professional liability, financial litigation, and other litigated matters. Chris represents clients in a wide variety of matters including complex commercial actions, contractual disputes, and breaches of professional duty in both State and Federal courts. In addition to commercial litigation matters, Chris represents both commercial property owners and tenants in matters relating to their lease agreement and other transactions. He represents clients in issues stemming from simple dispute resolution to complex commercial eviction matters. Additionally, Chris has extensive experience in insurance coverage matters, both in litigation and in counseling carriers with regard to their coverage obligations.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He focused on exchange rate theory and studied monetary policy at Miami’s campus in Luxembourg. Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. While there, Chris served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Justice David Prosser of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Chris is licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin and before multiple federal courts throughout the Midwest and country.
In his spare time, Chris loves skiing, golfing, and other outdoor activities to get away from a screen. Chris also loves enjoying the Chicago theater scene with his wife and enjoying new restaurants in Chicago.
