Deanna has over a decade’s worth of experience representing parties in all aspects of securities litigation.
Deanna is a Partner in Saretsky Hart Michaels + Gould PC’s Windy City office. For over a decade, she has focused her practice in securities arbitration and litigation, representing individual investors, brokers, broker-dealers, and insurance representatives. Her cases have ranged from customer disputes involving allegations of unsuitable investment recommendations, selling away, Ponzi schemes, churning, unauthorized trading, trading errors, and margin issues. Deanna also regularly represents financial advisors and broker-dealers in employment related disputes.
In addition to her experience with the financial services industry, Deanna has handled hundreds of cases involving other consumer fraud disputes, including insurance disputes, false advertising, and matters involving for-profit educational institutions. Throughout her career, Deanna has appeared regularly in several arbitration forums, including FINRA, JAMS, and AAA, in addition to state and federal court.
Deanna and her husband keep themselves busy with their three kids, two dogs, and endless DIY projects. She’s also a lifelong cheerleader, and has moved on to judging cheerleading competitions since hanging up her cheer shoes.
